Collection: Sewing Classes
Domestic Garment Technology is the practice of creating, altering, and mending clothing with one’s own skills and resources. Using hands and machines this practice returns the means of production to the individual and the collective, to refine an old skill or introducing one that is entirely new.
The System offers a variety of sewing classes at its home studio in the Abbotsford Convent. Taught by experienced designer, pattern maker, and heart of The System, Jack Hancock, these classes will cater to beginner and experienced sewers alike, with offerings of single classes, day workshops, and several day courses.
